THE STABLES COTTAGE
The Stables Cottage at Glen Aros offers accomodation for up to six guests in three suites. Located on the ground floor is the cottage suite which features a king size bed and en-suite, along with a fully equiped kitchen, dinning room, lounge and a seconds small children’s bedroom with a signal bed.
On the second floor are two fully appointed loft suites, both with super king size beds and all the modern comforts including individual en-suites. There is also a shared kitchenette and sitting room on the second floor.
THE HOMESTEAD SUITE
The Homestead Suite with a super-king size bed and private en-suite is also available in the main residence offering accomodation for two guests.
The residences are set at the end of a tree-lined driveway in gardens originally designed by famous colonial landscape architect Alfred Buxton. First impressions confirm the traditional elegance of a country homestead, with wide verandahs, sweeping lawns and peaceful rural views of the picturesque Raukawa Valley.
The homestead and cottage are set in two hectares of garden with mature trees, expansive lawns, and an olive grove overlooking the horse paddocks. Glen Aros offer a relaxing setting for a gathering of family, friends or colleagues.
If you are seeking solitude, you can find yourself a private nook to write, read, sample the finest single malt scotch whisky or just sit on the veranda and soak up the atmosphere. Relax and enjoy this captivating private estate and make use of the many facilities.

The Arran and Torran Suites
These spacious rooms are located on the second floor of Stables Cottage and feature high ceilings with exposed wooden beams and sweeping views across the Raukawa valley.
The Billiards Room
Large recreation room with a kitchen, bar and full-sized billiard table, opening directly to the pool and spa patio and BBQ area. Independently heated spa and a heated swimming pool, with a weir and natural stone patio that seamlessly blend into the surrounding garden.
Note: Children must at all times be accompanied by a responsible adult while in the pool area.
The Homestead Suite
This spacious room located in the main residence features Super-king size bed and private ensuite. The room look out across the gardens and mature trees of the main homestead.
Guests are invited to use the recreational amenities, including the billiards room, BBQ area and swimming pool.
The Homestead and it’s extensive gardens are available to be booked for special private events such as weddings and both casual or formal dinners.
Arrangements for such occasions can be discussed with the owners.
Glen Aros is an equestrian friendly property. Guests are welcome to bring and graze their horses and use the stable and arena facilities.
This will need to be prearranged with the owners.

HOW TO FIND US
Glen Aros is located in the picturesque Raukawa Valley, a rural area in the wine-growing region of Hawkes Bay.
It is a 20 minute drive from Hastings and Havelock North, and a 35 minute drive from Napier and the Hawkes Bay Airport. Transport to and from Glen Aros can be arranged to suit.
If travelling from further afield it's easy to get to Glen Aros Country Estate. The most popular way to travel is by car and this also gives you the full flexibility for discovering every corner of this fascinating region.
From the north, the easy drive on the Napier Taupo road enters via the beautiful Esk Valley, with its vineyards and hill top views to the Pacific Ocean. For dramatic scenery, an increasingly popular option is to cut across from Taihape using the Taihape "Gentle Annie" Road through the Kaweka Ranges.
From the south, your choice is to drive on State Highway 50 through the charming Central Hawkes Bay countryside or stay on the main route of State Highway 2 via Waipukurau and Waipawa.
